Registration Process Details

To register for the UK Internal Market Scheme (UKIMS), follow these steps:

Step 1: Prepare the Necessary Information

Before you start the registration process, gather the following information:

Company Details: Legal name, address, and registration number.

VAT Registration Number: If applicable.

Details of Goods: A detailed description of the goods you intend to move through the Green Lane.

Supply Chain Information: Information about your supply chain, including suppliers and customers, to demonstrate that your goods are not at risk of entering the EU single market.

Step 2: Access the UKIMS Registration Portal

Visit the official UK Government website and navigate to the section on the Windsor Framework or UK Internal Market Scheme.

Locate the UKIMS registration portal link, which will take you to the online registration form.

Step 3: Complete the Online Registration Form

Fill Out the Form: Enter all required details about your business, including company information, VAT number, and details about the goods you will be moving.

Supply Chain Information: Provide detailed information about your supply chain, emphasising how the goods are intended for the Northern Ireland market and are not at risk of entering the EU.

Step 4: Submit Supporting Documents

Keep this registration number safe, as it will be required for customs declarations to access the Green Lane.
